Outdoor Fun and Games
Today we watched a video of how a young girl was celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day. We learned about shawl dancing and pow wows. We danced our own special dance. Today we played outside all morning. We played bean bag toss and had sack races. We learned about the indigenous game double ball. Ask me about the game. We set up an obstacle course and played with frisbees. Mrs. Kitson spread us with the hose. It was fun because we were so hot. We played with bubbles and sidewalk chalk. In the afternoon we had a talent show. We had such a fun day in Kindergarten
This was a fun last day of Kindergarten. Have a great summer. Please come by and visit when you are in grade one!

Fairy Houses
Today Mrs. Kitson read us a story about a boy that made a fairy house. Ask me about the book, We made our own fairy houses. We finished our printing books and we are taking home our weaving. We had a fun day playing outside. Jasmyn came in and talked to us about bug. We made our own butterflies. Ask me about what bug taught us. It was a fun day in Kindergarten.

Eric Carle Fun
Today we had a guest teacher. She talked to us about the artist, Eric Carle. We watched him make his art. She read us the book, I see a Song. We also watched the video, The Tiny Seed. We made our own beautiful paintings. We used textured plates and made designs. In the afternoon we made our own Eric Carle paintings. We had lots of fun in Kindergarten.

Castle Time Fun
Today Mrs. Kitson read us the story, The Wolf Who Cried Boy. We talked about the lesson the little wolf learned. Asked me what the lesson was. We practiced printing our numbers and we are some of us are finished our weaving. We are so proud of finishing our little blankets. We had so much fun making up our own games in gym class. In music we played, London Bridge is Falling Down. In the afternoon Mrs. Kitson read us a chapter of Owls in the Family. Ask me about what Wol did. We had fun playing with the castle during Wondertime. It was a fun day in Kindergarten.

Fairy Tale Day
Today it was Fairy Tale Day in Kindergarten. It was so much fun to dress up. We did Fairy Tale Crafts. We made fancy name cards, a dragon puppet and a crown. We painted a water colour castle and decorated our own fancy goblet. We also made delicious dragon eggs. We danced a special medieval dance. The Gingerbread Man sent us a cool present. It was a crazy cake! We learned how it was kind of like the pie in Sing a Song of Sixpence. Ask me about the song. We had a fairytale fun day in Kindergarten

Construction Time
Mrs. kitson read the story, Snoring Beauty. Ask me about the story. We practiced printing lower case letters. We are taking our time and always starting from the top. We are working hard to finish our weaving. We are getting really good at reading our popcorn words in the message from The Gingerbread man. We love listening to Owls in the Family. We practiced subitizing. We played different games. We should continue working on seeing objects to 5 without counting We played inside in the afternoon. It was a wonderful day in Kindergarten.
