Fairy Tale Friends
Today we practiced listening for beginning and ending sounds. We need to practice listening to ending sounds. We can play guess the ending sound at home. We are practicing blending our letter sounds to read words. We like to read our little books at home. It will help us on our road to reading. We continue to practice subitizing. We should be able to see numbers up to 5 without counting. It was a fun day in Kindergarten.

Making Stained Glass Windows
Today we watched a video about stained glass windows. We made our own stained glass window. We finished our king and Queen portraits. We listened to two new fairy tales. The Princess and the Packet of Frozen Peas and Hansel and Gretel. We are bringing home another book for our book box. We circled the snap words. We had lots of fun at wondertime. We played basketball in the gym. It was a fun and colourful day in Kindergarten.

Learning about The Middle Ages
Today we learned about castles in The Middle Ages. We learned the word for toilet. Ask me what the toilet is like in a castle. Mrs, Kitson read us the fairy tale, The Princess and The Pea. Ask me about the story. We are bringing home another book for our book box. We can practice reading the snap words, We practiced subitizing. We should keep practicing this skill at home. We drew our faces and we talked about what we do if we were a king or a queen. We had fun playing with the castle at Wondertime. It was a fun day in kindergarten.

Happy Valentine's Day
Today we had lots of fun working at our Valentine centers. We graphed fruitloops, made a coloured heart booklet and made our valentine folders. We made a fun valentine for our parents. We were so excited to give out our valentines. It was a sweet and kind day in Kindergarten.

Telus World of Science
We had so much fun on our field trip to Telus World of Science. We learned about the Five Senses. We played in CuriousCity and we learned all about the planets in The Zeidler theatre.

Little Red Riding Hood
Mrs. KItson is reading us different versions of the fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood. Today she read us, Little Red Gliding Hood. Ask me about the book. The Gingerbread man sent us an email. He sent us his favourite fairy tale.. Mrs. Kitson read us his story. It was the book, Little Red Gliding Hood. Ask me about the book. He sent us character cards. We actied out LIttle Red Riding Hood. It was lots of fun. We are bringing home our own little Red Riding Hood book. We are learning the snap words, the ,I and am. We talked about patterns and made our own unifix patterns on paper, We met Cloud today. He is one of the kimochis. Ask me about Cloud. He told us it is okay to mad, but you can't be mean. We had a cloudy kind of day in Kindergarten.
